Purchased new from Hall Motors, 11th & Main Street, Riverside, California.

We purchased the car from the second owner, who bought it in 1952. It has been
in Riverside its entirelife. All sheet metal is original. It was re-painted in 1966,
which is the paint (Acme enamel) you see on the car now. We colored sanded
and polished the paint. Our goal is to preserve the car, not restore it. The car has
167,000 (plus) original miles.

These cars were produced from 1948-1950. On the 1950 model they added a
new front end and dash. A little over 18,000 total were manufactured, with just
over 5,000 in the 1950 model year. It is estimated that less than 1,000 have survived.

We brought the car home and quickly realized it needed some major repairs.

We rebuilt the engine, carb, generator, and fuel pump. We put in a new wiring harness,
and at this time added blinkers which were not originally on the car. Also replaced radiator,
exhaust system and shocks. . Installed new firewall insulation. Replaced the emergency
brake and choke cable.

Repainted the rims, bought new hub caps and white wall tires. Re-chromed rear bumper,
all other chrome is original.

Sanded down floorboards and painted before putting down new carper.
Re-upholstered front and back seat. Door panels are original.

We polished the chrome, aluminum and stainless steel trim. Touched up paint on dents
and scratches. Conditioned top and side curtains.

The car has all it original sheet metal, no rust or collision repair. Original paint
and chrome on dash and gauges. Has original owner’s manual.

All this was done in time to show itself off at our daughter’s wedding in December.
It ran flawlessly, and was a beautiful addition to a perfect day.
