2005 Elise
~25k miles
Salvage title- front fibreglass clam was replaced by previous owner. No
apparent frame or suspension damage. Checks out straight and aligns
100% fine. These cars get totalled by insurance companies for relatively
minor damage. We would not have built up this car if we had concerns
about its structural integrity. It's been through several track days
and 8k+ street miles in our hands with no issues.
Body/suspension:
Stock suspension (rides great on street, does well enough at the track)
Rota 16/17" black wheels, very light weight
Nearly new Dunlop Star Spec tires, 245mm wide rear
Stock brakes with EBC yellow pads, nearly new
Air Conditioning removed
Lightweight racing battery
Deck lid and trunk area modified for engine clearance. Trunk still very usable, locks.
Rear clam is set up for quick release. Can be removed for easy engine access in a couple of minutes.
Weight is under 2000 lbs
Engine:
Very low mile 2GR-FE 3.5: V6 engine
MWR conversion mounts, adapters
MWR long tube stainless headers
MWR dual stainless exhaust, dual tips
MWR cold air intake
MWR upgrade camshafts
GReddy emanage ultimate for tuning
AIM digital dash readout, fully configurable
Documented 320hp at the wheels (370 brake horsepower)
Upgraded fuel pump
Transmission:
New E153 5-speed transmission with LSD
MWR 500hp axles
Fidanza aluminium flywheel
ACT performance street clutch
This engine/trans conversion would generally cost $20k+ for parts and labour (not including upgraded camshafts)
This car is a good solid daily driver. The previous owner made some
modifications to the body like opening up the side vents larger and
installing custom mesh inserts in the radiator opening so it is not a
100% stock appearing pristine show winner. It does have a full
interior in good shape. Stereo sounds fine. Paint has some scratches
but is overall pretty good. Car drives nice and smooth on the street,
very comfortable and controllable. Gets 30+ mpg. No unusual
maintenance; just normal synthetic oil and a Toyota oil filter. Engine
is extremely easy to work on with rear clam removed.
Price: $34500
