1977 Ford Highboy $18,000
I am regretfully listing my '77 Ford Highboy. The only reason I am listing it is because I am moving to Georgia to be where my husband is stationed, and don’t want it to see the salty east coast and become a rust bucket. These good old trucks are hard to find. This was one of the last of the Highboys, built in December of '76.
Tranny was rebuilt professionally in May of 2017 by Pete‘s Transmission in Hermiston. Steering controls were completely rebuilt in May 2017 as well by Blue Dog Steering. I am following what the truck originally had and a cammed 400 crate engine from S&J in Spokane is currently being put in. It comes with a 7 year 100,000 mile warranty. The engine is pictured in this post. The original matching numbers engine with one rebuild left (just 50,000 original miles) will come with. Had no time to do the rebuild since I was working remotely all summer, so I got a new engine. It has an aftermarket high performance radiator and decent stereo, air bags for towing, and LED lights under the dash and in the dash that were put in before I owned it. Tach works. Interior and paint match original and were redone in 1998.
Explorer trim option is a rare custom factory order for this truck and came with wiper delay and rear window defrost. Flooring needs redone and I never got to that. There is also a crunch which happened at the Ford dealership on the right rear fender and bumper. This did no damage to the frame and is only an eye sore. If I fix it the price goes up to $20,000 for my time and costs as I am moving in just over a month. I personally know the previous owner as well. Tires are BFG 33's and in great condition. 4X4 works great.
Comes with spare tire and locking diamond plate toolbox not pictured. Hasn’t been wheeled or mudded in even with 2 previous owners that I know of, no rust or cancer issues other than surface rust on the dent where paint peeled. Clean Title call 480 343 9292 sorry no trades
