1966 Pontiac GTO Numbers MATCHINGThis GTO is considered one of the finest in the ‘66 era. PHS documented, this is a California car, one family owned from 1966 thru 2003. It has been totally restored (no rust & certified no hit body --all original metal) (correct & original 389 engine rebuilt) with "no expense spared" over $50,000 in documented receipts. The undercarriage looks as fresh today as it was in the showroom when purchased on January 16, 1966, by the original owner.
The auto glass all around is original. Head liner is original, Air Injector Reactor (California Emissions) Also have original working Delco AM radio, have original restored Carter carburetor, ------ all of the above in pristine condition.The original second set of redline bias tires w/rims goes with this car.This car still has its original tilt steering wheel, remote side mirror, radio antenna, non-vent gas cap, seat belts w/ original buckle , visor vanity mirror, electric clock & console. Look no further !From the original, includes the following -- 1966 Owners Guide, 1966 Owner Protection Plan w/Protect-O-Plate, Soft Trim Broadcast Sheet, Conditional Sale Contract (both green & pink copies) Dealer Deposit Receipt, Dealership Source of Account Contract, ALL California Registrations from 1966 to 2003 ( I have also kept my N.Y. & N.C. as well to date -therefore the registrations are from 1966 to 2017 --51 years), original owners Allstate Insurance Company Policy Declarations, and his GTO pictures from the '70's.Additionally, a signature notarized hand written letter of the car history from the original owner, in part attesting to its no-hit frame and its low mileage of 49,679 miles as of 9/22/04.On August 3, 2009 the original owner, now in his 80's, drove from Texas to North Carolina to visit "our car" . These pictures are signed & dated by both the original and current owner. There is also a DVD which was taken of that special event as well. All of this documentation goes with the sale. This GTO was featured in the August 2012 GTO Association of AMERICA --" THE LEGEND Magazine".Current documented mileage is 57,971 and 8,292 miles since Owner purchased it in Sept. 2004.
