Custom Car Audio/Restoration

Growing up I always enjoyed tinkering with cars, my snowmobile or 3 wheelers and 4 wheelers, around age 17 I got into jet skiing and started repairing and custom painting them for friends in my brothers garage, then after a pretty short lived move to Las Vegas with 5 buddies I moved back home and decided I better figure my life out. Did my two years at the local junior college and then transferred to Iowa State to major in finance. Thru out my college years I did body and paint work out of my brothers garage for an income source and after 3 years started developing a pretty good clientele base, I wasn’t really enjoying college and the job market was very bleak also for finance majors so I decided to go off on my own and start a new shop. Thank god my parents had enough faith in me to borrow me 30,000.00 to put up a building and buy a little more equipment, I built a paint booth, hung my shingle on the building and was off to the races. That was October of 1991 and we have moved once and bought 3 more buildings since then. We now have almost 11,000 square foot in the 3 connected buildings, 2 paint booths, 12 employees, are a club car and Dixie chopper authorized dealer, have a complete car audio/video department, restyling department and have become one of the largest collision shops in Iowa and have a customer satisfaction rating of over 98%. We are Direct Repair partners with over 10 insurance companies, offer direct repair fleet services, spray on bed liners and are the premier facility for lifting trucks and jeeps in the Midwest, offering pretty much anything associated with off road truck accessories. We are on track to be I-CAR pro by the end of 2014 and our technicians are second to none in this industry. The average tenure of employee is 16 years currently and we are a “family” here at Troy Waller Auto Body and follow the old saying “treat others as you would like to be treated”, no sale is ever final, we offer a lifetime warranty on repairs and will do whatever it takes to keep our customers happy and smiling. We are looking forward to the next 20 years in the collision repair industry, it by all measures looks to be the most challenging era for this industry and we are ready to face it head on and keep providing our customers with the service they have come to expect from Troy Waller Auto Body.
