This car has been my build for a few years now while also being my daily driver. I moved in it from Missouri, up to Maine to visit, and down here to Florida to start life. Little by little I've made this car what it is today with my own 2 hands, with the exception of the door upholstery and custom wind deflector. Everything from installing Brian Crower dual valve springs and retainers, sanding the valve cover and polishing it, hand bending and polishing stainless steel hard lines, to torquing the bushings and ultimately, the lug nuts down. There's no expensive, authentic, JDM parts and more than likely never will be, simply because I like things that nobody else sees or has. That being said, I've put my heart and soul into this car and at almost 150k miles now, it still looks pretty killer. For awhile I had an idea on what I wanted to do with the outside as far as paint goes and this year I asked my wonderful long time girlfriend, Erinne Haff, to Sharpie the entire car. The car is covered, from the inside of the bumper, to underneath the wing. We have A LOT of people mistake it for a vinyl wrap, and honestly, it's an honor for her to know people think it looks that good. I had her keep the body lines of the car so that it still looked like a car underneath and the rest of it I just let her run with. I obviously can't take all the credit for the car or maybe even half because with a little over 100 hours in the car, she quite possibly may have more in it than myself and definitely makes the entire car what it is today. The idea was we wanted everyone to be able to connect to it from every walk of life, every generation new and old, and really just enjoy the car as a whole. The driver's side is somewhat oriented toward me and the passenger side is somewhat toward her. There's everything from favorite cartoons, quotes, and car parts, to animals, supporting our troops and law enforcement. When I was growing up there was no such thing as stance, camber didn't exist, and wheels were simply just rims haha. Not that we don't like those things, it's just not a part of this build. A few of the mods are Tein Type-Flex Coilovers, Enkei Tenjin wheels double staggered, cat back dual exhaust, 24k gold hardware, custom valve cover spikes, carbon fiber RX7 Shine side skirts, full energy suspension bushings, Autotecknic carbon fiber mirror covers, circuit hero spark plug cover, and a Killerglass radiator hose. The car scene down here is so much different and bigger than back in my small town and it's so awesome to be able to play a part in it with the big leaguers. Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me and the build, I hope you enjoy the car as much as we do.
