I Have a 2012 Genesis coupe that I am building into a drift car. I started out by spinning a bearing right after a drift event. I removed the motor in my driveway and said to myself "well since the motor is out I might as well rebuild the whole thing" since i was lacking power on the track. I saved every penny, sold what i could to come up with the funds. I upgraded everything, starting from the top to the bottom. Tomei 270 intake/exhaust camshafts, Custom head work to fit those cams. upgraded to Brian Crower valves with springs & retainers. Motor started out as a 2.0 and was bored out to fit the Manley oversized pistons to a 2.4L. installed K1 Technologies performance connecting rods. stock crank. new oil pump. Tomei M7960 Turbo kit with CXracing exhaust manifold. Ported intake manifold. AGP Intercooler. as for the rest of the car mods consist of, Formula Drift spec roll cage. BC racing coilovers. SSR wheels and cosmis racing drift wheels. umm pretty much it.
