This automobile was one of 191 -529 Roadsters built nationwide in 1929. Like all Model A automobiles - the 40 horsepower - 4 cylinder (2200 RPM) engine was built at the Ford Rouge plant in Dearborn - Michigan. Assembly and testing for this motor was completed on October 28th - 1929 - one day before the biggest stock market crash in history! The fuel tank was built earlier on August 26th - 1929. The auto was then assembled sometime in November or December 1929 and was the 18 -954th Model A produced and what is believed to be the Pittsburgh - Pennsylvania plant. This vehicle was damaged in 2012 during Hurricane Sandy. It was completely restored - by its owner - from 2013 to 2016.
