1968 ground up restoration with rebuilt 302 HO Electronic Fuel Injected (EFI) motor out of a late model Cobra Mustang mounted up to an automatic transmission. Vintage Air Conditioning system installed and custom Rocky Roads laser cut the dash board to accommodate the nonexistent A/C vents. The body was completely dismantled and removed from the frame. The front fenders were fiberglass wide flared and we replaced them with original re-pops from Tom’s Bronco Parts. Front floor pans were inspected and had already been replaced, both inner fenders were replaced, hood had been replaced with the big scoop fiberglass that we stripped and repainted. The rest of the body is original sheet metal. It has a new wiring harness, brand new climate system including AC/heater, It has a complete deluxe carpet kit, new carpet hold downs, new headliner with extra sound proofing, the seats were replaced with late model Jeep Wrangler high back seats front and rear. The interior is super clean and very quiet for a period bronco. • Motor/Drivetrain: Stock 302 was replaced with a 302 HO Fuel Injected motor out of a late model Cobra mustang. However, before we dropped it in we put new main bearings, rod bearings, oil pump, cam bearings, water pump, alternator, plugs, wires, valve springs, keepers, valves, hardened seats, headers, aluminum radiator, complete new exhaust that is exceptionally quiet, battery, battery cables, fuel lines(front to back), brake master cylinder and brake lines, tank was boiled and lined, over flow tank for radiator, complete power steering set up and all new belts and hoses. • Rear end: New ring and pinion, bearings, outer seals, • Front end: New inner universal joints, brakes, outer seals, cleaned, inspected, resealed, upper king pin bearings, Warn lock out hubs, wheel cylinders and updated front driveshaft. • Transfer case: Cleaned, inspected, resealed, updated front driveshaft yoke. • Body accessories: New mirrors with built in blinkers in the side mirrors, antenna, emblems, blinker lenses front and rear, bumpers, New HID headlights, new trim rings, body bushings, door straps and hardware, seat belts, headlights, tail light covers, all new weather stripping and window seals, gaskets, etc. and windshield wipers. It has American Racing Wheels wrapped in 285/70/R17 All terrain tires. • Paint: The truck was dismantled for paint and then re-assembled it’s a deep charcoal gray finished in spring 2016 The list goes on and on, Custom Bumpers, , custom rollbar with integrated dome lights (nonexistent in 1968) usb plugs for powering up your phone etc. Less than 2,000 miles since complete.
