We were given the opportunity to build a custom 2010 Shelby GT500. During the consultation with the owner we made a promise to him to build him a "Show Winner". The GT500 was shipped to us from Wyoming. Before we started the build we had a rendering done by our friend Danny Whitfield. It's important to have a plan before you start the process. We needed a color scheme and after we saw the red brake calipers we knew that red would be our accent color. Carbon fiber would play a major role on this GT500. The "Hell Snake" sports a carbon fiber front splitter, rocker panels, hood, roof cover, trunk lid, rear spoiler and mirror covers. The "Hell Snake" was treated to four coats of PPG paint and six coats of clear. All of the car fiber parts were re-cleared for a deep gloss finish. All of the graphics were done with paint. The interior was upgraded with custom upholstery that included seats, door panels, shift boot, shift knob and billet pieces. The engine was treated to our Bangastang Dress-Up Kit that includes our Bangastang Radiator Cover, Battery and Master Cylinder Cover, billet Fuse Box Cover, billet Coil Covers, polished mounting hardware, painted cowl and a slew of extras. Beside looking good the "Hell Snake" put down 686 RWHP with a Whipple blower on 91 octane gas with no headers. Whiteline suspension keeps the beast in line. We lived up the the promise of building a "Show Winner" the "Hell Snake" has won the following awards: 1st Place 50th Anniversary "Shelby Team Bash" 1st Place People Choice "Rocky Mountain Steamboat Mustang Round-Up 1st Place Modified GT500 "Sturgis Mustang Rally" 1st Place People Choice "Ponies on the Plain" 1st Place Best Engine "Ponies on the Plain" The "Hell Snake" was featured on the cover of "Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords" magazine. In 2012 the "Hell Snake" was a featured vehicle at SEMA. The "Hell Snake" is a upgraded package that is available for all 2007-2014 Shelby GT500 from Bangastang.
